Iron Mountain’s Global Technology Organization is looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for building innovative digital solutions for our global customer base. The PO will be part of the Strategy team who will work with the Agile development teams engaged in designing and building of new products and features.

An ideal candidate for this role must be a passionate, team-oriented problem solver who understands and differentiates between what users want vs. what they need to create industry leading solutions. He/She should demonstrate a hybrid of business and technical acumen and understanding of consumer centricity to enable digital experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Gather design inputs from various stakeholders including product management, marketing, development, customer support, IT/Imaging operations, billing, scrum master, project management, and development team members.

  • Lead or participate in software scrum ceremonies and associated meetings for effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Manage requirements, use cases, documentation, and user stories for current and subsequent sprints.

  • Plan and track software releases, maintaining the product backlog and defining user stories with acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on solution designs and requirements.

  • Hold project team accountable for timely and cost-effective execution of deliverables.

  • Prioritize backlog, grooming, and user story definition in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Translate plans into feature and user story development spanning multiple agile program increments.

  • Drive project execution, negotiate priorities, and mitigate risks to meet business commitments.

  • Support user acceptance testing, develop training materials, and manage change to ensure business readiness for new tools and processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience crafting user stories and acceptance criteria for cloud-native digital solutions.

  • Proficient in SDLC tools such as Jira, Gitlab, Confluence, etc., with a focus on defect tracking and requirement management.

  • Skilled in facilitating design thinking workshops with internal stakeholders.

  • Self-driven with a knack for adapting to changing environments, adept at navigating ambiguity, and committed to instigating change.

  • Exceptional communication abilities, blending technical prowess with articulate verbal and written skills.

  • Strong grasp of Agile methodology, ideally with previous implementation experience; certifications like SAFe or Scrum Alliance preferred.

  • Portuguese

  • Advanced English

  • Intermediate Spanish (Desirable)
